Natural Material

Latex rubber comes from the latex extracted from the hebea brasilientis, the rubber tree. It is a natural product that is particularly appreciated for it’s excellent elasticity and softness. Close control of raw material sources combined with an exclusive production process, designed and developed in Italy, make Chicco latex rubber and products developed using it unique.

All Chicco products made using natural latex rubber have been tested in vitro and clinics and are free of all common agents causing allergic reactions.

Softness

A baby will instinctively seek the softest contact. Teats and soothers must be soft to ensure a pleasant and natural contact with baby’s lips and to optimally fit the shape of the mouth. Latex rubber is ideal since it is so soft it only needs minimal pressure to be compressed. Therefore, it allows for a better fit in the mouth, has a soft touch and will not upset baby, making sucking the soother pleasant for baby.

Therefore, do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources and store in a cool and dry place. Changes to colour and size during usage do not interfere with the basic product features. It is however advisable to replace the product if major changes occur.
